If the on-line application is available during an open hiring period, you will find a link on the page linked above. If you are a recently discharged veteran (I think within ninety days of discharge) you can open a register with the Office of Personnel Management. What this means is that even if the recruitment period is not open, if a test date is pending, you should be able to request to be tested. I have no personal experience with this, but I do know that the option exists. Contact the veteran's representative at your local employment office for more precise information. Veterans (those who have been awarded the National Defense Service Medal [Firewatch ribbon, for you Leathernecks]) receive five points (or more) additional to their passing test score.
