The Complete Idiot's Guide to
Learning Spanish on Your Own If you insist on trying to learn Spanish on your own before
going to the academy, Idiot's Guides are usually pretty good. The combination
of information and humor make them a good read.

By far, the most realistic Border Patrol action on video. Some parts are a
little hokey, like when a journeyman agent shows up from New York to patrol the border and
can barely speak Spanish. Hmmmm, maybe that's not so hokey.
The Border
Jack Nicholson
Not bad action with a nice storyline, but it portrays a seamy side of the
Border Patrol that is unflattering, to say the least.
Flashpoint
Kris Kristofferson
Good story, humor and action. I won't ruin it for you, but Kris gives a great
one-liner that you'll never forget. I'll never forgive him for not shaving his
beard to do this movie. It just ruined the whole effect for me. This is a
surprising story that you will probably enjoy if you can get past the bearded
Border Patrol Agent thing.
